ABOUT ME
I have been photographing since I bought my first camera in a pawn shop in college. Most of my photography has involved exploring the world as I have been fortunate to travel to more than 100 countries to experience and learn about other cultures. The images on this website represent my most recent work since diving into the digital culture.
This self-portrait expresses how I perceive myself as a roving eye and world traveler, always catching my reflection in the store windows as I wander. The hidden message on the bus billboard is "WE WILL ROCK YOU". I hope my work will do that to you!
I am largely self-taught with having studied at various institutions and workshops over the years. Currently, I am living in Chicago, IL after having spent three years living in Abu Dhabi with my husband, which is why so much of my current work is focused on the Middle East.
I am continuing to follow paths which lead me into new directions with Levitation and Infrared Photography, as well as Portraiture. But I continue to wander the streets....
